He was predeceased by: his father William F. Rieker, Sr.; and his siblings, Joseph Worthington, Florence Bernender and Patricia Sands. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barnett of Smyrna, DE; his children, William F. Rieker, III (Erica) of Smyrna, DE, Danielle Coyle (William) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Janine Fucilli (Ryan) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Joann Vandergrift of Smyrna, Annamarie McEntee (Jim) of Bensalem, PA, Dominique Robles (Carlos) of Smyrna and Gabrielle Price (Maurice) of Dover; his sisters, Anne Rieker of Woodbury, NJ and Lois Sterling of Valley Center, KS; his sister-in-law Trisha Worthington; and his grandson Mark Taylor (Moose).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Helen Graham Cancer Center Christiana.
