He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Shane, Sr. and Evelyn Shane Wheeler; his sister Betty Walls (Shane); and his great grandchild Jeremiah Shane. He is survived by: his wife Doris Wood Shane of Smyrna; his sons, Bradford of Smyrna and Robert (Eunice) of Newark; and his siblings, Evelyn Cook (Louise), Franklin and Clifton Shane. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
