He was predeceased by: his father Arnold; and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca MacMillan, Jennifer Miller (Greg) and Adam Bernfeld (Brittney); his mother Sonya Bernfeld; and his grandchildren, Sarah Grace Miller, Emily Kate Miller, Luke William Bernfeld and Lily Catherine Bernfeld.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the USO in support of military members and their families.
