He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Burris (Tribbit); his children, Wesley J. Burris and Ginny M. Jewell (Barry Jewell); his grandchildren, Wesley Jason Burris and Kadence Marie Jewell; his sisters, Patricia McGinnis (Paul McGinnis) and Linda Atkins (Burris); and his close friend John Griffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
