With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas John Petro of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Petro and Joan Petro; and his pets, Buttercup, Duncan and Duke.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Petro; his daughter Stephanie Stevens (David); his grandchildren, Nicholas and Lindsey Stevens; his siblings, Bonnie DeGirolano (Gene), Lenny Petro and Craig Ponte; his pets, Bob, Brian, Fred, Smokey and Yvonne Sunflower; and his friends, Bernie Matyniak and Anderson Okeke. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
