He is survived by: his children, Joan A Brown, Solomon Thomas III and Monquie Collier; his daughter-in-law Katrina Bush-Thomas; his grandchildren, Emani Brown, Kataya Brown, Tyrell Brown, Courtlyn Collier and Rudy Collier; his niece Yolanda Barnes (Aundray); and his nephews, Jayson Thomas (Alexis) and Sammy Potts.
