He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leroy, June Sayers of Smyrna, Jeannette and Harry Killen of Leipsic. He is survived by: his parents, Ron Sayers and Ellen Sayers of Smyrna; his daughters, Jessica June Sayers (Billy Jackson) and Madison Leigh Sayers; his brothers, Ronald W. Sayers (Billie Jo) and Thomas K. Sayers (Melissa); his nephew Harry Sayers; his nieces, Alison Sayers and Amber Sayers; his aunt Sis Killen; his grandchildren, Emma June Jackson and William Allen Jackson, III; and his close friend Tracy Ayala.

In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest contributions to the Citizens Hose Company, in Smyrna.
