He was predeceased by: his daughter Margaret Eybs. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marsteller Laigaie; his children, Robert Jr. (Bunni), Thomas (Jennifer), Joseph (Susan) and Kathleen Ferguson (Michael); and his sister Margaret Czekay. He is also survived by his family and friends.
