He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard K. Thompson and Alma Cromer Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thompson; his sons, Robert T. Baker of Smyrna, Kenneth J. Thompson (Jane Malago) of Colchester, VT, Shawn Thompson of Dover, DE, Christopher Thompson and Brian Thompson of Charlottesville, VA; his granddaughter Cadence E. Baker of Smyrna, DE; and his sister Susan Sprouse (John Sprouse).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Faries Funeral Directors (29 S Main St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
