She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Leroy Beeson Sr. (Roy) and Katherine B. Beeson; her husband Walter A. Nelson Sr.; and her siblings, Elmer Leroy Beeson Jr. (Bud) and Katherine B. Hughes (Kitty).
She is survived by: her sons, Walter A. Nelson Jr. (Cecelia), Mark A. Nelson (Jean) and Todd A. Nelson; her grandchildren, Walter III, Becky, Justin, Rachel, Alexander and Katherine; and her great grandchild William.
