It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Zapata Lugo of Smyrna, Delaware, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Zapata Lugo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Sergio Felipe Zapata; and her siblings, Rosa Zapata, Jorge Zapata Lugo and Victor Zapata Lugo. She is survived by: her mother Atanasia Lugo Rubio; her children, William Ortiz (Diane Ortiz), Lourdes R Williams (Preston Williams), Juan Rios Jr. and Damaris Dortch (Breon Dortch); her grandchildren, Melanie Williams, Yazmin Ortiz, Jessie Hause, Fabian Dortch, Madaniel Dortch, Lathadeus Dortch, Lisa Marie Ortiz and Lyann Ortiz; and her sister Edith Zapata Lugo. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
