He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Gene Atkinson; and his mother-in-law Alice Rzepski. He is survived by: his mother Daphne Atkinson (Cutler); his spouse Tracey Atkinson (Rzepski); his children, Mackenzie and Michael; his siblings, Lynette Soares and Ralph Atkinson; his father-in-law Theodore Rzepski; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Duffin (Jack) and Dana Moss (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
