He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Rumsey (Bentz) and Lloyd Rumsey of York, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Joan Rumsey (Dempsey); his children, Michael Rumsey (Leslie) of La Grange, KY, Michele Blow (Don) of Marydel, Melissa Reed (Greg) of Edinburgh and Scotland; his grandchildren, Brett (Taylor), Mary Elizabeth (Devin), Jacob, Jessica, Harrison, Andrew (Veronica), Meredith and Samantha; and his siblings, Verna, Glenn and Leslie.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Cheswold United Methodist Church or to Season's Hospice of Delaware.
