She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughlie Garrett and Leona Garrett; and her brothers, Hughlie Garrett, Jr. and John Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Gary W. Thomas (Brenda Thomas) of Morristown, NJ, Sandra Thomas of Butner, NC, Joseph Thomas (Dominique Adger-Thomas) of Smyrna, DE and Lonnie B. Thomas of Hampton, VA.; her siblings, Robert Garrett, Thomas Garrett and Clara Garrett Mercer; and her grandchildren, Miekei Thomas, Roger Young, Kingsley Dowman (Shawn), Keara Thomas, Gary Thomas, Jarrhin Thomas, Layla Riley, Jalen Adger-Thomas and Kristian Adger-Thomas. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
