Thompson Jr. of Smyrna, Delaware, born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland D. Thompson, Sr. and Ethel Thornton (McCaraher); and his sister Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his daughter Lindsey Volz (Kevin) of Smyrna; his grandchildren, Jacob, Landyn and Emily; and his siblings, Edward, Raymond, Ronald, Barbara Shaver and Louise. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
