She was predeceased by: her grandson Donnel Wesley Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Lawon Hinton Johnson (Alvin) and Hubert H. Hinton III; her adoptive daughters, Ida Davis Lockette (Bruce) and Celestine Davis Boatright (Norman); and her stepdaughter Kellene Underdown Bruce.
