She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earnest Hicks and Anna Little Hicks; her husband Chanley Thomas McCauley; her siblings, Dorothy Hicks, Helen Hooten (Marcus), Earnest Hicks, Nathan Hicks, Winfred Hicks, Clarence Hicks and Isaac Hicks; her cousin Calvin Leroy Hicks; and her grandchildren, Ashley and Alfred Clark.
She is survived by: her brother Leonard P. Demby (Teresa) of Harrington, DE; her sisters-in-law, Thelma Hicks and Fay Hicks of Kenton, DE; her niece Della Waters; her godchildren, Leonard Butcher of Dover, DE, Shara Brinkley of Dover, DE, Randy Demby of Dover, DE and Devante Wilson; and her cousin Darlene Demby. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren.
