It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Medford Davis III (Smyrna, Delaware), who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Medford Davis and Eleanor Davis (Nowland); his sister Joan Dathe; and his daughter Michelle Davis. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Rogers (Cathy Walls); his children, John Davis (Shannon Shy) of Lewes, Nory Davis (Shawn Piper) of Rehoboth Beach, Meda Davis of Millsboro, Mary Poore of Elkton, Holly Reynolds (Mike) of Lewes and Brock Rogers (Amanda Brown) of Milton, Delaware; his grandchildren, Megan, Daja, Kaylee, Autumn, Khloe, Mallory, Bella, James of Duke, DJ, Colby, Brenson, Tyler, Kyler, Chase and Jamison; his great grandchildren, SJ and Skyla; his siblings, Ray Davis (Linda), Susan Durham and Gail Mack (Greg); and his brother-in-law Bob Dathe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
