With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Thompson (Smyrna, Delaware), who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Thompson and Ruth A. Masten Thompson; his wife Jeanette Spicer Thompson; and his grandchild Kelly J. Pierson. He is survived by: his children, Patricia A. Pierson, Carol L. Davis, Janet Messina and John E. Thompson II; his son-in-law Edwin Pierson; his grandchildren, Ryan Vaughn (Damion Vaughn), Wayne E. Messina and Lisa M. Messina; and his great grandchildren, Michael K. Pierson, Addyson Vaughn and Breighlyn Vaughn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Daughter's Home (114 Pine St, Wyoming, DE 19934).
