With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jared A. Carter (Smyrna, Delaware), born in Amsterdam, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Carter (McClumpha) and Alton Carter. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his daughters, Dawn Jory (Eddie), Kimberly Bierman (Randy) and Melissa Fulgham (James); his grandchildren, Ashley, Timothy of Matthew, AJ, Bryce and Zach; and his pet Smokey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faries Funeral Directors (29 S Main St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaware Hospice in Milford.
