It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Owen Martin of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Yerington, Nevada, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Martin and Louise Martin (Rogers). He is survived by: his wife Judith E. Pierce-Martin; his children, Alyce Martin-Beck (Marc), Richard Martin (Michelle), Scott Martin (Judy), Jesse Moye (Megume) and Matthew Moye (Summer); and his grandchildren, Marcus Tays, James Tays, Audrey Moye, Skye Tays (Terisa), Roman Tysdale, Ethan Moye, Tanner Martin, Aiden Martin and Ben Martin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
