With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Fortunato of Smyrna, Delaware, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Fortunato and Ferdinand Fortunato; and his siblings, Louis, Rose, Francis, Dorothy and Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Fortunato; and his children, Jim (Melissa), David (Caroline), Joe, Kim (John) and John (Sara). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren whom he adored, & many nieces & nephews.
