She is survived by: her husband William Copes Jr.; her daughters, Cheryl Rhoades of Smyrna, Carol Roark (Bobby) of Bear and Carrie Erickson (Brice) of Clayton; her great grandchildren, Nicole Rizzi, Vincent Rizzi (Ashley), Brian Rhoades, Brice Erickson Jr. (Cece), Haley Erickson, Katelynn Rhoades, Austin Erickson, Branson Erickson and James Rizzi; and her siblings, Joanne Scholl (Robert), Margaret Fiorelli (Lou), Linda Lackford (John), Jack Cael III (Kim) and Steven Cael (Drema).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townsend Church (4519 Dupont Pkwy, Townsend, DE 19734). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
