We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022, at the age of 82, George Elmer Wilson Jr. of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Dover, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Wilson and Myrtle Ann Wilson (Hall); and his brother Kenneth R. Wilson (Patricia). He is survived by: his cousin Nancy Hurd (Hall); the mother of his children Edna Boutwell (Jones); his children, George Dennis Wilson (Kelly K. Pleasanton), Benjamin Mark Wilson (J. J. Anglin) and Pamela R. Draper (Jeffrey R. Draper); and his stepson Rick E. Handsberry. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in George's memory to The Whitehall Neck Sportsman Club, 565 Hurd Rd., Smyrna, DE 19977 for this club has touched so many people in the community.
