Eileen C. Hosey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen C. Hosey of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald D. Hosey, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary, Viola, August and Earl Watson, Sr. (Jackie) of West Chester.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Anderson (David) of Middletown, DE, John Hosey of Smyrna, DE and Donald Hosey, Jr. (Karla) of Fair Grove, MO; her grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Michael, Clorissa, Donald, III and Jonathan (Colleen); her siblings, Mia Eyrich of Altadena, CA and John Eyrich of Bainbridge Island, WA; her niece Linda Biscombe; and her pet Rylee. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairwinds Baptist Church (801 Seymour Rd, Bear, DE 19701). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720).
