He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Forbes and Rita Forbes (DeMarco); his wife Eunice Forbes; and his grandson Christopher Allen Thomas Laird. He is survived by: his children, Charles Thomas Forbes, Jr. (Kelly) and Lynda M. Laird; and his grandchildren, Lyndia Aiken (Josh), Michael Laird, Jr. (Lauren), Jeanna Laird, Mark Hedrick (Lorrie), Michael McKenney (Kelley), Miranda McKenney, Melinda Wellborn (Tim), Bonnie Perry (David), Marina McKenney and Charlene Forbes (Mike). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
