It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen D. Cruz of Smyrna, Delaware, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Rivas; and her parents, Emilio Cruz and Carmen Vasquez. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Alaya (Domingo) and Carmen J Rivas; her siblings, Mary Cruz, Teresa Garcia and Rogelio Cruz; and her grandchildren, Anibal Figueroa (Charlene), Philip Cruz, Christopher Cruz, Robert Rivas and Anna Walsh. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faries Funeral Directors (29 S Main St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
