Carleton William Whitney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carleton William Whitney (Smyrna, Delaware), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 8, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Harold Whitney, Edward Whitney and Wesley Whitney. He is survived by: his parents, Theodore Whitney and Estelle Davidson Whitney; his children, Mable Troutman Whitney, Theodore R. Whitney, Jr. and Professor Donald Whitney; his spouses, Carleton and Elaine of Philadelphia, PA; his daughters, Roxanne Whitney and Carolyn McBride Francis of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Edward Clinton Hall, Christopher Jordan Hall and Carleton Johnathan Price; his great grandchildren, Noah Hall and Jonah Hall; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Troutman, John Whitney, Michael Whitney, Estelle Whitney, Kathi Whitney, Dara Ryan, Onyx Hope Whitney and Elizabeth Whitney; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Whitney and Keith Whitney. He is also survived by other relatives and a host of spiritual brothers and sisters.
