It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Hoffman Shaw of Smyrna, Delaware, born in Maple Shade, New Jersey, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles (Lena Hoffman) and NJ; her former husband Leroy F. Shaw; and her siblings, Lena, Caroline, Betty, Clarence and Charlie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Buckner (Joseph) and Karen Willis (Skip); her grandchildren, Brian Buckner (Ashley), Justin Willis, Elizabeth Penrose (Cory) and Ashley McCauley (Will); and her great grandchildren, Holland, Sutton, Wesley, Max and Aster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
