It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger L. Smith Sr. of Selbyville, Delaware, born in Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Smith Sr. and Inez Smith (Long); and his brother Harry R. Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Leona L. Smith; his children, Roger Smith Jr. (Amy) of Dagsboro, DE, Amy Clark (Billy) of Selbyville, DE and Joshua A. Smith of Selbyville, DE; his sisters, Harriett Smith (Jeff) of Selbyville, DE, Jean Ellen Lyons of Selbyville, DE and Andrea Kasper (Dave) of Nixa, MO; his grandchildren, Megan, Garrett, Logan and Kaitlyn; and his pet Pumpkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
