He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McCabe and Eva McCabe; his wife Patience "Peggy"; his children, Kelly Carter (Joe) and Richard Steven McCabe (Andrea); his grandchildren, Joshua Carter (Sarah), Devin Carter, Taylor White (Warren), Cade DuVall and Patrick McCabe; his great grandchild James Carter; and his siblings, Patsy Moore (Ronald), John Edward, Preston and Della. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
