He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver M. West Sr. and Dorothy H. West (Townsend); his daughter Donna M. West; and his siblings, Oliver M. West Jr. and Margaret Ann Haak.
He is survived by: his wife Doris R. West of Bishopville; his children, Robin L. Short of Georgetown, Melissa A. Bertrand (Kenny) of Frankford and Milton Lee West Jr. of Bishopville; and his sister Lydia Woodland of Bishopville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
