He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Hollada (Doc) and Ferne Hollada (Dull); his wife Rita Hollada of Selbyville; his children, Kitty Hollada Ambers (Andy) of Richmond, VA and Jonathan Hollada of Atlanta, GA; his sister Barbara Reinert of Larkspur, CA; and his grandsons, Jordan Ambers (Brittany) and Corey Ambers (Abby).

Larry was very involved in the Selbyville community, having served as its Mayor in the 1980s and as Vice-President of the Selbyville Improvement Foundation.
