Susan Foust wrote a sympathy message

“Miss Jeannette touched the lives of so many... Not only was she the mother of one of my classmates, Karen, she was our school nurse, and encouraged our survival through minor illnesses and mishaps that followed us . Through the years she continued to set the standard for us all. She never failed to recognize and greet me when we would meet in various places. Miss Jeannette will be missed. Sincerely, Susan Foust (McCabe)”
