She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hudson and Sarah Hudson (Hadder); her husband Charles C. Tyre; her son Larry J. Tyre; and her sisters, Jennie Clark, Molly Russell, Katie Toomey, Sarah Vickers, Frances Quillen, Nellie Sawyer and Louise Farlow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda T. Fentress of Berlin and Sarah T. Swift of Selbyville; her grandchildren, Laurence Fentress (Gerri), Michael Fentress, Jonathan Steele (Ashley) and Jamie Steele (A. T. Whaley); her great grandchildren, Ava Fentress, Lawson Fentress, Brooklynn Steele, Lillian Whaley and Lucy Whaley; and her siblings, Evelyn Townsend, Josephine Dennis and James Hudson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Melson Funeral Services (43 Thatcher St, Frankford, DE 19945). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (10601 Assateague Rd, Berlin, MD 21811).
