He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chaffinch and Mary Chaffinch; his wife Bette Chaffinch; and his siblings, Jack Chaffinch, Janice Tyre and Eleanor Chaffinch.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gladys Graham (Ken) and Howard Chaffinch; his stepchildren, Vicki Dorey (Rob) and Kirk Hedstrom; and his pet Spot. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
