He was predeceased by: his parents, Severn Rippon and Eleanor Rippon; and his brothers, Gordon, John and Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Meriam Rippon; his former wife Margaret Shreeves Rippon; his stepsons, Darin (Renee Powell) and David (Holly Powell); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Madison, Alexander, Thomas, Jackson, Keller and Grace.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Delmar VFW Post #8276. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Capeville Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans' Military Service organization in recognition of the cause he deeply valued.
