With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Wainwright in Seaford, Delaware, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. McAllonis and Gertrude L. McAllonis. She is survived by: her daughter Leza Wainwright; her son-in-law Gene Byrd of Raleigh, NC; her son George Wainwright; her daughter-in-law Lea of Middletown, DE; and her grandchildren, Chad Aycock, Lex (Thomas), Ben and Eliza Wainwright.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be no public service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19963.
