It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Ray Torbert of Seaford, Delaware, born in Georgetown, Delaware, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" and Mary Z. Torbert (Wiley); and his siblings, Carol Elzey, Linda Williams and Martin Torbert.
He is survived by: his wife Faith Torbert (Givens); his children, Todd Torbert (Heather) of Ijamsville, MD and Tracy Torbert (Jay Houston) of Seaford, DE.; his grandchildren, Mason Torbert, Brayden Houston, Grace Torbert and Braylee Houston; and his sisters, Wanda Dukes and Tammy Faulkner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Philips Episcopal Church (600 S Central Ave, Laurel, DE 19956-1410). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
