She was predeceased by: her father Granville Goslee; her parents-in-law, Tom Ayers and Margaret Ayers; her brother-in-law Harry Quillen (Layton Ayers); her sister Louise Goslee Quillen; her grandson Austin Ayers; and also Sidney Ayers.
She is survived by: her husband Layton Ayers of Georgetown, DE.; her mother Clara Goslee; her friends, Bill and Averil Crewe; her sons, Mark Ayers (Connie) and Tim Ayers; her grandchildren, Tiffney Ayers Belcher (Dyke), Margo Ayers, Amy Ayers Higgins (Ed) and An Ayers Vane (Chris); her great grandchildren, Sidney Kilgo Walker (Michael), Tatum Ayers, Aully Ayers, Taylor Takacs, Lewis Takacs, Arden Takacs, Alex Higgins Sanet, Ross Higgins and Ava Vane; her great great grandchildren, Ivey Walker, Lacey Walker, Emerson Sanet and Edwin Sanet; her niece Inga Quillen Emerson; her great-nephew Chad Emerson; and her close friend Donnie Dickerson (family: Chick Allen, Dave Brumbley, France Ariola, Joanna Harton, Holly Lankford, Diane Lorde Smith, Megan Hare). She is also survived by his mother's caretaker.
