He is survived by: his wife Karen Mae Stokes; his children, Bobbie Shown (Mitch), Suzanne Carpenter of Seaford, Cheryl Lowery, Cory Taylor of Easton, Joe Lowery of Ridgely, Diann Partlow (Tink) of Hurlock and David Carpenter (Donna) of Trappe; his grandchildren, Ashley Marshall, Mitchell Magrogan of Easton, David Duran of Camden, Kyle Brooks of Hurlock, Karina Lowery of Hillsboro, Christian Duran of Florida, Chase (Alexis Partlow), Adam Mohamed of Florida, Jourdan Partlow of Hurlock, McLane Carpenter of Hawaii, Tyler Carpenter of Seaford, Kayla Lowery (Da'Vion Dockins, Sr.), Rachel Carpenter of Virginia and Cameron Lowery (Katherine Bennett); his great grandchildren, Kirsten, Zoe, Kinsley, Kendall, Arianna, Kaedyn, Anastasia, Alex, Da'Vion, Novah, Dean and EmmiRose; and his brother Medford Benson "Skip" Carpenter, Jr. (Penny) of Linkwood.
