He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William George Moerschel and Emma Catherine Strasbaugh; his former wife Thelma Iras Wright; his wife Elizabeth; his children, Susan Moerschel, Leslie Tucker and Grant Moerschel; his grandchildren, Fred Townsend, Stuart Townsend, Tyler Laporte, Melissa Reed, Katie Painter, Will Moerschel, Hannah Moerschel, Rick Townsend, Sara Townsend and Jack Townsend; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Reed, Bryce Painter and Cole Painter.
