He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Hicks and Dale C. Hicks (Butterworth); and his brothers, Darryl and John Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Hicks; his sons, Sean Brown and Scott Hicks; his stepdaughters, Barbara Beaman and Nancy Fields (Mark); his grandsons, Logan and Maverick Fields; and his niece Margaret Pitts (Hicks).
