She is survived by: her brothers, Marshal J. Waple III of Estes Park, Joseph V. Waple (Virginia) of Richmond and James R. Waple of Rehoboth Beach; and her nieces and nephews, Peter A. DeNitto (Virginia) of Falls Church, Stephen Whitton of New York, Sam Munson of New York, Christopher DeNitto of Sarasota, Oliver Waple, Nathaniel Waple (Virginia) of Richmond, Charlie, Joshua Fingerman (Virginia) of Burke, Sarah Muson of New York, Julia Munson of New York, Carolyn Fingerman and Kelly Whitton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Monroe "Chip" Whitton Scholarship program at the Global Education Office at George Mason University.
