Gunkel of Rehoboth Beach, DE.; his sister Delores Palmer (Fred) of Bear, DE; his close friends, Charles "Buck" Hicks and Jack Ward; and his grandchildren, Jason Brooks, John Kane, Jr., Rebecca Kane and Laura Kane. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 5 great grandsons and 5 great granddaughters.
