We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2021, at the age of 93, James Whiteley Travis Jr. of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, born in Lewes, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whiteley Travis Sr. and Ruth Travis (Melvin). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Travis (Lawton); his sons, John Jack Lawton Travis (Joseph) of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Baltimore, MD, David Travis (Pamela) of Milton, DE, James Travis and Brad Travis Sr. (Michele) of Lewes, DE; and his siblings, Donald N. Travis (Jeanette) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Patricia Burton (Bill) of Rehoboth Beach, DE.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks will be required at all aspects of the service at the request of the family.
