He is survived by: his wife Kelly Tranthum; his son Howard Jr. of Georgetown, DE; his stepdaughter Kathleen Olkowski of Wilmington, DE; his son-in-law Andy Rash; and his siblings, Arvil, Nancy Tranthum and Betty Barrett (Zarro) of Delaware. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
