He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovsavna Zakarian and Vehan Zakarian; his wife Dolores J. Crader Zakarian; his son Garabed "Gary" D. Zakarian; his granddaughter Shelby Lynn; and his brother Zakar "Zak" (Millie Zakarian).
He is survived by: his uncles, Charlie, PopPop and Das; his children, Daniel V. Zakarian of Houston, TX and Karen L. Zakarian of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his son-in-law Jesse D. Burns; his daughter Margaret "Margie" A. Hayden (David) of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Matthew, Phillip, Daniel, Arielle, Jason, Brian and Maggie; his great grandchild Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Pierce of Anderson, SC and Joan (Thomas Neville) of Anderson, SC; his cousin Richard (Roberta Zakarian) of Santa Cruz, CA; and his nieces and nephews, David (Karen Zakarian) of San Francisco, CA, Michael (Connie Miller) of Camden, DE, Mark (Susan Miller) of California, William Dudziak of Wilmington, DE, Susan (Rob McIntyre) of San Diego, CA, Teresa (Steve Melton) of Gaston, NC, Misty Hill of Cork, Ireland, Jennifer Dudziak Kidd (Eric Kidd) of North East, MD, Dana Dudziak (Brandon Anderson) of Anderson, SC and Kim Dudziak Shank (Joe Shank) of Pike Creek, DE.
