With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen L Herd (Rehoboth Beach, Delaware), born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jan Liska and Ludmilla Liska; her brother John; her friend Latch Gardenhour; her daughters, Lydia Herd (Mike DeAngelis) and Leslie Collins; her friends, Judy, Laura Brown, Paula (David Williams) and Susie Herd; her niece Anne (Fabio Grandi); her nephews, John (Linda Cannon) and Ken (Johleen Cannon); her grandchildren, Billy Fosbre (Elianne Carroll) and Leigh (Scott Martin); her great-nieces, Caterina Grandi, Katie and Abbie Cannon; her great grandchild Jayce Martin; and also Jan.
As COVID kept her isolated from most except family, the visitors she had brightened her day and put a smile on her face.
Contributions to her memory in lieu of flowers may be made to the International Red Cross for Ukraine.
