He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roemer and Mary Roemer. He is survived by: his pet Sammy; his wife Louise Poore; his children, Maureen Ludlam (Daren) of Smyrna, DE and William Roemer (Venus) of Millsboro, DE.; his siblings, Frances Wilkinson of Stanton, DE, Sam Roemer (Carol), Judy Anderson of Fairbanks, AK and Mary Grant of Hanover, MD.; his grandchildren, Taylor Ludlam, Morgan Scully (James), Cierra Roemer, Tristen Roemer and Alexis Spencer; and his great grandchild Layla Scully.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home (212 N Broad St, Middletown, DE 19709). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Presbyterian Church, 138 Jefferson St, Delaware City, DE 19706.
